Why we built this

Every equipment finance application we see wants a Profit & Loss statement — 2-3 years of them, ideally. Most small-business owners don't have one. They have a shoebox of receipts and a bank login.

This tool bridges that gap in about 5 minutes. Drop in your bank statements (CSV, Excel, or PDF — every bank supports at least one), tell us what kind of business you run, and our AI reads through each transaction, categorizes it into the standard P&L line items for your industry (Fuel/IFTA for trucking, Materials/Subcontractors for construction, Product Cost for food, and so on), and hands back a lender-ready statement.

Why free? We're an equipment finance brokerage. If your P&L looks fundable, we'd love to help you get financed. If it doesn't yet, you know what to work on. Either way — the tool is yours.

Drop your bank statements below. We accept CSV, Excel (.xlsx), and text-based PDF exports from any major bank (Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Bluevine, Novo, Mercury, US Bank, PNC, Regions, and most credit unions). Multiple files welcome — drop 12 monthly PDFs at once and we'll read them all.

Privacy: Your transaction data is sent to our server, processed by Claude (an AI model from Anthropic), then discarded. Nothing is stored, logged, or shared. We never see or keep your bank data. Free users are limited to 3 P&Ls per 24 hours per network.

Frequently asked

Is my bank data safe?

We send it to our server (over HTTPS), run it through Claude (Anthropic's AI), and immediately discard both the input and output. We do not log the transaction data. We do not share it. Anthropic's API does not train on our requests. The only thing we keep is an anonymized count of "how many P&Ls did this IP address generate today" for rate-limiting.

How accurate is the categorization?

For clean trucking bank statements, roughly 90–95% accurate on first pass. The AI flags anything ambiguous in the output. Review the P&L before handing it to a lender — treat it as a very fast first draft, not a substitute for a bookkeeper.

Will this replace my bookkeeper?

No. Bookkeepers do a lot more than categorize transactions — they reconcile, they handle sales tax, they clean up things quarterly, they file. This tool is for the moment when a lender says "send me your P&L for the last 12 months" and you don't have one ready. It gets you to a starting point in 5 minutes instead of paying $500-2000 for a rush job.

What bank formats work?

CSV export from any major bank (Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Bluevine, Novo, Mercury, US Bank, Regions, PNC, and most credit unions). If your bank only gives PDFs, either paste them as plain text (works but rougher), or use a free converter to get to CSV first.

What if the P&L looks bad?

Then you know exactly what to work on. Common issues: unclassified revenue (deposits that look like personal transfers but are actually freight payments through a factoring company), missing insurance or IFTA in a category (usually because they were paid annually and hit only once in the year), or truck payments not showing up as "debt" (mixed in with regular checking withdrawals). Fix the obvious ones and rerun.
