How much down on a waterjet?

700+ credit: around 10% down. 620-700: around 20%. Below 620: 25-35% down. Waterjet deals often size smaller than laser or CNC — entry Protomax and MAXIEM machines come in under $150K, which is well inside app-only territory on decent credit.

Do you finance 5-axis waterjet?

Yes. Flow Dynamic Waterjet with the 5-axis head, OMAX A-Jet, WARDJet with 5-axis. Aerospace, stone, and architectural work where the taper compensation matters.

Can I finance a startup shop's first waterjet?

Yes. Waterjet is a common first-piece machine — signage, gasket, architectural stone, art shops. Experienced operator, LLC formed, real quote, meaningful down payment. Personal-credit-driven structure typical for startup deals.

Used waterjet — are those fundable?

Yes, through a legitimate dealer with an invoice. Waterjet consumables (pump seals, orifice, nozzle) get replaced regularly, so machine age matters less than pump condition and control generation. We evaluate case-by-case.
