Auto repair shop equipment financing — from one two-post lift to a full bay build-out.

An independent shop adding a fourth bay with a Rotary two-post lift and a Hunter alignment rack. A tire store replacing its changer and balancer. A collision shop financing a downdraft paint booth and a frame machine. A quick-lube adding a second pit lift. Shop equipment is non-titled and holds its value, which means fast approvals and small-ticket deals that most lenders won't bother with.

Who we fund

  • Independent general repair shops — adding bays, replacing lifts, adding alignment.
  • Tire and wheel stores — changers, balancers, alignment, TPMS.
  • Collision and body shops — booths, frame machines, measuring and welding systems.
  • Quick-lube and inspection stations — pit lifts, fluid exchangers, emissions equipment.
  • Truck, fleet, and diesel shops — heavy-duty and mobile column lifts, brake lathes, dynos.
  • Dealership service departments — equipment packages funded direct to the distributor.

Small-ticket is fine

A single lift or an alignment rack is a $10,000 to $40,000 purchase, and most banks won't touch a loan that size. We will. On strong credit, small shop-equipment deals get a soft credit pull, a decision in hours, and funding the same week. Larger packages, a booth and a row of lifts for a new location, run as one approval.

How much down

The ranges below are reference points so you know roughly where a file lands — they are not a rate sheet. We review every situation individually, and once we've seen your file we'll tell you exactly what the down payment is.

  • Established business, 700+ credit, prior commercial financing paid as agreed: low or zero down is on the table.
  • Established business, strong credit, first commercial financing: around 10% down.
  • Established shop, credit between 635 and 700: plan on 15% to 25%.
  • New shop: 700+ personal credit required, with a real down payment.
  • Below 635 credit: Below 635 personal credit is not a file we can place on this type of equipment; the collateral doesn't carry a weak-credit program the way a truck or a piece of yellow iron does.

Every file is reviewed on its own merits. Time in business, bank statements, the specific equipment, and comparable credit all move the number — the tiers above are where files usually start, not where they have to end.

What we don't finance

  • Auction purchases
  • Private-seller purchases
  • Glider trucks
  • Repairs to existing equipment
  • Refinances of current loans (cash-out refi on free-and-clear equipment only — call for details)

Frequently asked

What's the minimum deal size? About $5,000. A single lift or tire machine is a normal deal for us.

Is it a hard credit pull? On strong-credit files under about $75,000, no — a soft pull, a decision in hours, and funding the same week.

Do you finance used shop equipment? Yes, from a dealer or distributor. We do not finance private-party purchases.

Does installation go on the loan? Yes. Lift installation, booth assembly, and electrical as part of the equipment invoice.

Leased building? Free-standing equipment doesn't involve the landlord. Booths and in-ground lifts in leased space may need the lease and a landlord waiver on larger deals; we handle that paperwork with you.

★★★★★

“I have been in commercial truck sales since 1998 and have dealt with multiple finance companies over the years. I have been working with Spencer at Trust Alliance Capital for about 6 years now. Trust Alliance is my only alternative finance company in the industry. Spencer is absolutely the most personable and responsive person I have ever dealt with. Thanks for all you do.”

“As a new startup, Logan helped me find the easiest financing with little hassle. The whole experience was awesome — especially the ability to walk into a dealership and negotiate a price knowing you have already been approved. Will go this route from now on.”
