Dry van trailer financing — 53-footers, new or used, for owner-operators and fleets.
An owner-operator going from power-only to pulling his own box. A regional fleet adding ten used Wabash vans for a drop-and-hook contract. A dedicated carrier buying new Great Danes with logistics posts and air ride. We finance the dry van on its own, or the tractor and trailer together on one approval, and we fund direct to the dealer or the fleet-sale lot.
Owner-operators leasing to a carrier that pays a trailer premium, or running their own authority on dry freight.
Small and regional fleets adding trailers for drop-and-hook, dedicated, and intermodal drayage work.
Startups with a real down payment — a new authority with 25% or more down, strong credit, and CDL time behind it. Trucking is one of the industries where we still welcome first-year operators, as long as there's real money in the deal.
Shippers running private fleets — manufacturers, distributors, and retailers that pull their own vans.
What we finance
53-ft and 48-ft dry vans — Wabash, Great Dane, Utility, Hyundai Translead, Stoughton, Vanguard. Sheet-and-post and composite plate walls.
Used dry vans from fleet sales and dealers — the most common deal: 3-to-7-year-old units out of large-fleet trade cycles, with an inspection and a clean title.
New dry vans with spec options — logistics posts, air ride, roll-up or swing doors, liftgates, e-tracks, trailer tracking.
Pup trailers and 28-ft doubles for LTL and parcel line-haul.
Tractor-and-trailer packages — the power unit and the van on one approval when you're buying both.
Dry vans hold up well, and that works in your favor: the programs we use for them generally take trailers up to about eight years old (2018 and newer), with floor, roof, and door condition mattering more than mileage. Older trailers on a strong credit file are reviewed case by case.
How much down
The ranges below are reference points so you know roughly where a file lands — they are not a rate sheet. We review every situation individually, and once we've seen your file we'll tell you exactly what the down payment is.
Established carrier, 700+ credit, prior commercial financing paid as agreed: $0 down.
Established carrier, strong credit, first commercial financing: around 10%.
Credit in the 600s with time in business: 15% to 25%.
New authority or first-year owner-operator: plan on 25% or more. Strong credit and CDL history can pull that toward 20%.
Every file is reviewed on its own merits. Time in business, bank statements, the specific trailer, and comparable credit all move the number — the tiers above are where files usually start, not where they have to end.
What we don't finance

Frequently asked
Can I finance a used dry van from a private seller? No. Dealers and fleet-sales operations only — they produce a clean title and a standard bill of sale every time. Private-party trailers are not financed.
Can I finance a trailer without a truck? Yes. A trailer-only deal is common for owner-operators moving from power-only to pulling their own equipment.
Do you finance dry vans for a brand-new authority? Yes, with 25% or more down and strong personal credit. We'd rather tell you that in three minutes than after a credit pull.
How many trailers can I add on one approval? Multi-unit packages are routine. Application-only approvals typically run to $250,000; larger fleet adds are underwritten with financials.
Lease to own? Yes. Lease-to-own and $1-buyout structures are available alongside straight equipment finance agreements.

“I am in the transportation business. Trust Alliance Capital gave me an opportunity to finance multiple pieces of equipment in one loan. “Camron is the best. I had less than perfect credit and he went above and beyond to help me secure financing for a semi and trailer. He took care of everything and made it easy to get everything done. Will use them again in the future.”
