How a first-time step deck deal actually closes
Five-minute phone call. Tell us about the trailer, your driving history and authority status, credit picture, down payment available. Spencer or one of his account managers picks up. No bot, no overseas call center.
We tell you the deal on the phone. What credit tier we'd fund it at, expected down payment, expected monthly payment. No surprises later.
Application + credit pull. 15-minute app online or by phone. Hard pull only when you say go.
Underwriting + approval in 24-72 hours. We package the deal to the right lender on our panel. Most app-only deals approve same day or next day.
Stipulations + insurance. Cargo and physical damage binders, financials if required, signed documents. Funded direct to the dealer.
You start hauling. Most deals complete in 3-5 business days from a complete app.
What we don't finance
Auction purchases
Private-seller purchases
Glider trucks
Repairs to existing equipment
Refinances of current loans (cash-out refi on free-and-clear equipment only — call for details)
Section 179 — write off the trailer the year it goes to work
A commercial step deck financed through TAC typically qualifies for Section 179 depreciation. Deduct the full purchase price the year you place it in service — up to the IRS annual limit ($1,250,000 in 2026) — instead of depreciating over five or seven years. Combined with our simple-interest loan structure, the after-tax cost of the trailer is materially lower than paying cash. See our Section 179 calculator for your specific numbers.

Tyson's Peterbilt 389 and hopper trailer at the fuel island
“Camron is the best. I had less than perfect credit and he went above and beyond to help me secure financing for a semi and trailer. He took care of everything and made it easy to get everything done. Will use them again in the future.”

“My experience with Trust Alliance Capital was great. If I could I would give them 10 stars. Took a week to get my deal done, got approved in one day, found my truck over the weekend and I just signed my paperwork yesterday. Thanks to Spencer and his assistant Kathleen — you need finance, Trust Alliance Capital is who I would recommend. They made it happen. Thanks again.”
