How a first-time mini excavator deal actually closes

  3. Application + credit pull. 15-minute app online or by phone. Hard pull only when you say go.
  4. Underwriting + approval in 24-72 hours. We package the deal to the right lender on our panel. Most app-only deals approve same day or next day.
  5. Stipulations + insurance. Insurance binder, financials if required, signed documents. Funded direct to the dealer or private seller.

Section 179 — write off the mini the year it goes to work

A commercial mini excavator financed through TAC typically qualifies for Section 179 depreciation. Deduct the full purchase price the year you place it in service — up to the IRS annual limit ($1,250,000 in 2026) — instead of depreciating over five or seven years.
